Gigi's Passion

Gigi Brittain is a dressage trainer currently residing in Elizabeth, Colorado. She's based out of Freedom Farms between Franktown and Elizabeth in the south Denver metro area. Gigi trains either from her location or the rider's. She's also available for clinics nationwide.

Gigi aptly and ably develops young horses for Dressage. She enjoys working with horses and riders of all levels to help them reach their goals, and offers training of both horse and rider through Grand Prix. Her forte is getting the horse prepared for the show season and bringing home qualifying scores. No one shows off a horse quite like Gigi. She also works with those in the Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, and Eventing disciplines to help develop each horse's full athletic ability.

Gigi is also a wonderful trainer for her rider clients. She has an eagle eye, and knows intuitively how to communicate effective ideas and riding skills to her students. She builds horse and rider pairs that work together harmoniously.

Gigi has ridden her 22-year young talented Dutch-Import "Interland," known around the barn as Piety, up through FEI Levels. Piety is now retired from the show ring, but is still very active and fit.

Appraisals

Gigi is certified with the American Society of Equine Appraisers (ASEA). Gigi's keen eye and in-depth knowledge enables her to give a professional and ethical assessment of any horse.
